I NEED A GOOD CAMERA.

IN NEED OF A CAMERA.

Cameras are every where. In this time and Era, anyone can own a camera, and not just a camera but a quality one.  Life has been made easy by technology and we have these cameras everywhere we go. We always try to capture every moment in our lives, which is good because we only live once YOLO! *Insert your favourite emoji*

How i wish i can tell you a story of how we,the 1980's and 90's kids used to look for these photographers who used to be seen making rounds in our villages or estates once in a while. Finding one was like hitting a jackpot, it was a very rare chance. The challenge here is that i dont want to make this article a long one, so lets save that for another day.

I was late, so i just picked my bag and rushed out of the house. As I was locking the door, my mind had already reached my destination and I was thinking of how much i was going to enjoy taking pictures because I had worn one of the best attires in my wardrobe and again I was going to meet one of the best people I had in my life. But wait!! Something was missing, my camera, I mean my phone was missing. The one which i was going to use to take photos.

Do you have a spiritual camera? I mean do you have that asset that you use to reflect your character? Am asking whether  you allow the word of God to reflect who you truly are! Or you are one of the people James 1:23 describes. The one who looks at himself in the mirror and goes away, moments later, he forgets how he looked like in the mirror. In this context, i want you to realise that Apostle James was referring to a good mirror which is clean, to be able to reflect a good, exact image of the object. A bad mirror can not give you the correct results.

Before we go on, i want you to understand that our camera has replaced Apostle Jame's mirror for the sake of relevance.

Let me try and break it down, do you call yourself to a meeting and ask yourself whether you are Christ like? Our mirror here is Christ himself. Do you see yourself in the character of Christ? Are you drinking what you are preaching,Or there is wine at some corner around you? It is time to take a photo of your inner man and take a look at it, does it bring glory to the deity of God?

Is God pleased with your action and thoughts despite travelling from Genesis to Revelation? Oh yes, i know you know  Obed-Edom, Belteshazzar and Joakim and who exactly they were in the Bible, but do you really live your life in accordance to His will? Can we miss your presence because you ooze wisdom?,and not just wisdom but the kind of wisdom recommended by King Solomon in Proverbs.

As for me, i think i need a better camera. I want a closer relationship with my God so that my camera can upgrade to a good quality. A quality with bigger pixels, that which can capture every little tiny detail of my character. I purpose to always move around with it, take selfies and review the photos on a regular basis. I want my inner image to reflect the one who called me. I purpose to review my character, and to correct where i am required to.

I want faithfulness, honesty , obedience and integrity to be captured, because i want to remain relevant in my father's house. I want to admire what i see.

Who is joining me in purchasing a better camera? Are we ready to get a good mirror? A mirror which we can use to reflect our character? We need it.
